Drents Museum: Röling

When Matthijs Röling (1943-2014) painted the Blue Room in the Nijsinghhuis (part of the Drents Museum), he wanted to create a space that felt like stepping into a painting. The deep blue walls now form a lively backdrop for various allegorical figures and still lifes, making the room feel like a painter's palette.
The Drents Museum has entrusted us with two pieces of his work to add to the extensive collection of woollen scarves that we are building on their behalf.
