Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian: Hatherly

Ana Hatherly was a Portuguese poet, visual artist and filmmaker known for her experimental approach to language and form. She often regarded her brushstrokes as a kind of dance or choreography on paper. And that is indeed what the original painting looks like: a visual, rhythmic pattern of colors. This enchanting flow has been translated into a fashionable combination, a rain hat with matching tights on behalf of Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian.
